We are a Sydney based South American run business where our founder, artist, and art teacher, Samantha Borda, provides art classes for kids and adults, Sip & Paint experiences, art parties, art commissions, and online options of our services.
Our Story
We begun as a humble mobile service delivering art classes to students of all ages in the Sydney area. Our mission is to continue sharing our knowledge of art to creatives everywhere as we believe art is essential for everyone to embrace.
Hola Arte's Inspiration
Hola Arte's name and logo were influenced by the nationality and heritage of our founder.
To represent her Australian nationality as well as the country Hola Arte stands on, the shape of the land is shown through the use of colourful brushstrokes. The incorporation of the Spanish words depicts part of her South American, specifically Peruvian and Chilean, heritage.
In translation from Spanish to English, the word Hola (pronounced ow-luh) means hello and Arte (air-teh) means art.
Samantha Borda
Get to know me
Art teacher, artist and founder of Hola Arte, Samantha Borda, is passionate about sharing her 10+ years of art experience to people of all ages. She prioritises creating a fun, interesting, inclusive, and safe class environment for all create in.
She is also a Visual Arts teacher with a Master of Teaching (Secondary) degree. She graduated from the National Art School with a Bachelor of Fine Art and majored in painting.
